About the Ceremony

Our Community Salutes of Central Maryland will host its Inaugural High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony to honor its Class of 2025 high school seniors and their families on April 29, 2025.

Everyone must register to attend the event.

Doors open for check-in at 6:00pm

The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:30pm

Speakers will include:

  • Major General Kelly Dickerson, Commander, 84th Training Command, Fort Knox, Kentucky
  • Command Sergeant Major Michele Jones (U.S. Army, Ret.)
  • Abby Moffat, Chief Executive Officer and President of the Diana Davis Spencer Foundation
  • Master of Ceremonies: Colonel J Gregory Jolissaint, (U.S. Army, Ret.), Howard County Commission on Veterans and Military Families

The National Anthem will be performed by Nafrettifi Griffin.

Music is provided by the Brass Quintet, United States Army Field Band.

There is no cost to attend this event. Local businesses and support organizations are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of our Class of 2025 high school enlistees who have made the selfless decision to serve our country.

Suggested dress attire is business or business casual.
