The Defense Affairs Committee (DAC) of the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce presents the annual Our Community Salutes of the Greater Charlottesville Area  at Lane Auditorium in the Albemarle County Office Building. This is the Annual High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony to honor its Class of 2024 high school seniors and their families on April 20, 2024 beginning at 10 AM.

Our 2024 featured speakers will be Command Sergeant Major Subretta Pompey, 99th Readiness Division and Thomas Crabbs, retired US Coast Guard Officer and current Military Liaison to Governor Glenn Youngkin.

There is no cost to attend this event. Local businesses and individuals are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of our Class of 2024 high school enlistees who have made the selfless decision to serve our country.

We ask that everyone register so that we have a good count for refreshments and other needs. Mission BBQ will generously be providing lunch after the Ceremony.
