About the Ceremony

Our Community Salutes of Connecticut will host its 2nd Annual High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony to honor its Class of 2025 high school seniors and their families on May 17, 2025.

Everyone must register to attend the event.

Doors open for check-in at 9:00am

The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00am

Speakers will include:

  • Major General Fran Evon, The Adjutant General of the Connecticut National Guard
  • Captain Michael Chien, Commanding Officer of the U.S. Coast Guard Research and Development Center
  • Master Sergeant Sarah Lorenzini, Connecticut Air National Guard
  • Specialist Jailyn Nieves, Connecticut Army National Guard
  • Master of Ceremonies: Renee DiNino, Director of Community Engagement, WFSB Channel 3 and host of "Hello Connecticut" and "Amazing K9 Duo’s"

Music is provided by the 102D Army Band.

There is no cost to attend this event. Local businesses and individuals are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of our Class of 2025 high school enlistees who have made the selfless decision to serve our country.

Suggested dress attire is business or business casual.
