About the Ceremony
Our Community Salutes of Houston hosted its inaugural Enlistee Recognition Ceremony honoring the Class of 2024 high school seniors and their families on April 18, 2024.
Speakers included:
- Brigadier General Gail Crawford, Director of Military Justice and Discipline, Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps, Department of the Air Force
- Command Sergeant Major Shade Munday, U.S. Army Recruiting Command
- Command Sergeant Major Michele Jones (USA, Ret.)
Master of Ceremonies
Jennifer Reyna, Houston’s Traffic Expert on KHOU 11 Morning News. Jennifer has been a dedicated member of many organizations in the Greater Houston area for several years, many of which honor servicemen and women. Organizations include Lone Survivor Foundation and RodeoHouston’s Armed Forces Appreciation Committee.
Music was provided by the Marine Forces Reserve Band from New Orleans, LA.
