Our Community Salutes of Houston will host its Inaugural High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony to honor the Class of 2024 high school seniors and their families on April 18, 2024.
Doors open for check-in at 6:00pm.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00pm.
Featured speakers include:
- Brigadier General Gail Crawford, Director of Military Justice and Discipline, Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps, Department of the Air Force
- Command Sergeant Major Shade Munday, U.S. Army Recruiting Command
- Command Sergeant Major Michele Jones (USA, Ret.)
Master of Ceremonies
Jennifer Reyna, Houston’s Traffic Expert on KHOU 11 Morning News. Jennifer has been a dedicated member of many organizations in the Greater Houston area for several years, many of which honor servicemen and women. Organizations include Lone Survivor Foundation and RodeoHouston’s Armed Forces Appreciation Committee.
Music is provided by the Marine Forces Reserve Band from New Orleans, LA.
There is no cost to attend this event. Local businesses and individuals are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of our Class of 2024 high school enlistees who have made the selfless decision to serve our country.
Suggested dress attire is business or business casual. Everyone must register to attend the event.
