About the Ceremony

Our Community Salutes of Lawton / Fort Sill will host its inaugural High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony to honor its Class of 2025 high school seniors and their families this Spring.

Everyone must register to attend the event. Please be sure to register by May 6th.

Doors open for check-in at 6:00pm

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30pm

Speakers will include:

  • COL Jarrod Stoutenborough, commanding officer of the United States Marine Corps Detachment at Fort Sill
  • Mike Brown, Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (CASA)
  • Kevin Hime, Superintendent of Lawton Public Schools
  • Master of Ceremonies: Dan Threlkeld, retired Lieutenant Colonel of the U.S. Army and co-anchor for Good Morning Texoma on KSWO-TV in Lawton

There is no cost to attend this event. Local businesses and individuals are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of our Class of 2025 high school enlistees who have made the selfless decision to serve our country.

Suggested dress attire is business or business casual.
