About the Ceremony

Our Community Salutes of The Lowcountry will host its Annual High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony to honor its Class of 2025 high school seniors and their families on May 13, 2025.

Everyone must register to attend the event.

Doors open for check-in at 5:30pm.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30pm.

Speakers will include:

  • Brigadier General Ahmed Williamson, Commanding General, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and Eastern Recruiting Region
  • Sergeant Major Andrew Yagle (USMC, Ret.), Command Sergeant Major, Commandant's Department, The Citadel
  • Allison Hunt, Executive Director, USS Yorktown
  • Master of Ceremonies: Rob Fowler, Charleston's Storm Team 2 Award-winning Chief Meteorologist

Music is provided by the Parris Island Marine Band.

The National Anthem will be performed by Kat Greer.

There is no cost to attend this event. Local businesses and individuals are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of our Class of 2025 high school enlistees who have made the selfless decision to serve our country.

Suggested dress attire is business or business casual.
