The Our Community Salutes (“OCS”) program and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats will be hosting high school students who have signed their commitment to join one of the Armed Forces to a special “Swearing in” ceremony for  young men and women who will take the oath of enlistment into the Armed Services.

We’re bringing our community together to say “thank you” to these selfless citizens while enjoying a great night of baseball. Thanks to the generosity of several Veteran Service Organizations, local stores, and private donors, the students and their families will attend for free this memorable evening for the new enlistees in gratitude for their commitment. The event will feature special acknowledgements from the New Hampshire politicians and several veteran support organizations. The ceremony will include a special reception for the students and their families where they will receive personalized certificates of recognition for their commitment to serve in the military and a buffet dinner of “traditional baseball fare” (hot dogs, chips, etc.). Then, they will watch the Fisher Cats play a game.
