Our Community Salutes of Pittsburgh will host its annual High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony to honor the Class of 2024 high school seniors and their families on April 15, 2024.
Doors open for check-in at 6:00pm.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00pm.
Speakers, to date, include
- Brigadier General John Rhodes, Commanding General, 316 Sustainment Command (Expeditionary)
- Colonel Raymond Hyland Jr., Commander, 171st Air Refueling Wing, Pennsylvania Air National Guard
- Command Sergeant Major Paul Fluharty, 15th Command Sergeant Major of the Field Artillery and U.S. Army Field Artillery School
- Master of Ceremonies: Larry Richert, " The Voice of Pittsburgh." Larry is the morning radio show host for Pittsburgh's KDKA Radio, the voice of NFL Films/Pittsburgh Steelers Highlights, the Public Address Announcer at Heinz Field for the Steelers, and part of the Pitt Panthers Football Network Broadcast Team.
There is no cost to attend this event. Local businesses and individuals are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of our Class of 2024 high school enlistees who have made the selfless decision to serve our country.
Suggested dress attire is business or business casual. Everyone must register to attend the event.
