2026 High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony

On Friday, April 24, 2026, Our Community Salutes Georgia honored more than 80 Enlistees along with their Families, Recruiters, and all who provide unwavering support. The Celebration drew over 230 attendees representing 54 High Schools and 36 Cities. This marks the 9th Enlistee Celebration hosted by Yaarab Shrine.
The distinguished Speakers Sen. Ed Harbison (USMC), Sen. District 15 and SGM Leonard Grimes, Atlanta Army Recruiting Battalion each spoke to the heart of Service, its challenges and rewards, and the incredible Military Family.
Enlistees received an OCS GA Certificate of Honor, an OCS Challenge Coin, an OCS "Why We Take the Oath" Booklet, and two Chick-fil-A Gift Cards (courtesy of Chick-fil-A). Additionally OCS GA mailed the OCS GA 8x10 "Flag Portrait" to each Enlisting Hero's family. If not received, contact Jim Eberle at jim@eberle71.com or text to 404-668-0601.
