Since 2013, Conklin Kiwanis Club has been hosting the Our Community Salutes High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony of Broome County, NY, and the NYS Southern Tier,  to honor high school seniors who plan to enlist into the military, and their parents/guardians. This year's Salute initially scheduled for  June 9, 2021, had to be canceled because of COVID-19. We host the Salute with the help of the exceptional administration and staff at Windsor High School, and the district is still dealing with hybrid learning and a national event the district is hosting. We will be back next year.

Our 2021 featured speakers include: Major General (Ret.) Peter Lennon, United States Army; Eugene Clark, Jr. retired military and OCS National Executive Director; Dr. Jason Andrews, Windsor School District Superintendent.
