About the Ceremony
Our Community Salutes of Central Arkansas will host its 2nd Annual High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony to honor its Class of 2024 high school seniors and their families on April 12, 2023.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30pm
Speakers, to date, include:
- Major General Jonathan Stubbs, The Adjutant General, Arkansas National Guard
- Major General Tracy L. Smith, Commanding General, 63rd Readiness Division
- Brigadier General Leland "Tony" Shepherd, Arkansas Army National Guard Land Component Commander
- Brigadier General (Ret.) Tamhra Hutchins-Frye, former Director for Manpower, Personnel and Services, Air National Guard Readiness Center, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland
- Ms. Abigail Benz, Miss Rodeo Arkansas 2023
- Tina Marie Adams, CEO at Vision Stewardship Group
- Master of Ceremonies: Bob Clausen, Emmy Award-winning journalist and News Anchor at KARK-TV, Little Rock
Music is provided by the 77th Army Band Brass Quintet from Ft Sill, Oklahoma.
There is no cost to attend this event. Local businesses and individuals are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of our Class of 2024 high school enlistees who have made the selfless decision to serve our country.
Suggested dress attire is business or business casual. Everyone must register to attend the event.
