Our Community Salutes of Colorado Springs will host its annual High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony to honor the Class of 2024 high school seniors and their families on May 2, 2024.

Doors open for check-in/social at 6:00pm.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00pm.

Featured speakers include:

• General Stephen Whiting, Commander, United States Space Command
• Brigadier General Mark Richey, Mobilization Assistant to the Commander, Eighth Air Force, and Commander, Joint-Global Strike Operations Center, Barksdale Air Force Base
• Mr. Stan VanderWerf , El Paso County Commissioner, District 3
• Mr. Tom Walker, National Defense Industrial Association, Rocky Mountain Chapter President
• Master of Ceremonies: Alan Rose, Award-winning on-air meteorologist for News5 Today in Colorado Springs

Music is provided by the 4th Infantry Division Army Band from Ft Carson, CO.

National Anthem sung by: Technical Sergeant Denver Murphy, The USAF Academy Band

Invocation by Chaplain Tamer Sayedahmed, US Air Force

Honor Guard: Doherty High School Navy Jr ROTC, under the direction of CAPTAIN Greg Thomas
Mounted Color Guard: Ranger Rider Pivots

There is no cost to attend this event. Local businesses and individuals are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of our Class of 2024 high school enlistees who have made the selfless decision to serve our country and their parents or guardians.

Suggested dress attire is business or business casual. Everyone must register to attend the event.
