2026 High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony

About the Ceremony

On Friday, May 1, 2026, Community Salutes Georgia honored more than 60 Enlistees along with their Families, Recruiters, and all who provide unwavering support. The Celebration drew over 200 attendees  representing 34 High Schools and 15 Cities.  This marks the 4th Enlistee Celebration hosted by the National Infantry Museum.

The distinguished speakers Sen. Ed Harbison (USMC), Sen. District 15 and 1SG (Ret) Viva Jester, JROTC Instructor Stewart County School System each spoke to the heart of Service, its challenges and rewards, and the incredible Military Family.

Enlistees received an OCS GA Certificate of Honor, an OCS Challenge Coin, an OCS "Why We Take the Oath" Booklet, and two Chick-fil-A Gift Cards (courtesy of Chick-fil-A). Additionally OCS GA mailed the OCS GA 8x10 "Flag Portrait" to each Enlisting Hero's family. If not received, contact Jim Eberle at jim@eberle71.com or text to 404-668-0601.
