About the Ceremony

Our Community Salutes of Los Angeles will host its 2nd annual High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony to honor its Class of 2026 high school seniors and their families on May 2, 2026.

Doors open for check-in at 9:00am

The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00am

Speakers include:

  • Rear Admiral Robert Nowakowski, Deputy Commander, Naval Education and Training Command – Force Development
  • Captain Jawana McFadden, Commissioner, Los Angeles County Veterans’ Advisory Commission (2nd District)
  • Master of Ceremonies: DN Mario A. Guerra , Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army-Emeritus and former Mayor of Downey, CA.

Music will be provided by the 1st Marine Division Band. 

There is no cost to attend this event. Local businesses and individuals are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of our Class of 2026 high school enlistees who have made the selfless decision to serve our country.

Suggested dress attire is business or business casual. Everyone must register to attend the event.

PLEASE NOTE!
Parking is LIMITED in the Theater Lot
Please expect to drop off any guests that cannot walk long distance.
There is additional free parking available on 17th and 18th Street.
