About the Ceremony

Our Community Salutes of Northeast Arkansas hosted its Inaugural Enlistee Recognition Ceremony honoring the Class of 2024 high school seniors and their families on April 11, 2024.

Speakers included:

  • Major General Jonathan Stubbs, The Adjutant General, Arkansas National Guard
  • Major General Tracey L. Smith, Commanding General, 63rd Readiness Division
  • David Peacock, President, Hytrol Conveyor Company Inc.
  • Master of Ceremonies: Chris Hughes, also known as "Rick Christian," a 26-year local radio personality with the Jonesboro Radio Group and current Memphis Redbird Baseball on-field EMCEE.

The 106th Army Jazz Band also performed.
