About the Ceremony

Our Community Salutes of Northeast Arkansas will host its Inaugural High School Enlistee Recognition Ceremony to honor the Class of 2024 high school seniors and their families on April 11, 2024.

Doors Open for check-in at 5:30pm.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30pm.

Speakers, to date, include

  • Major General Jonathan Stubbs, The Adjutant General, Arkansas National Guard
  • Major General Tracey L. Smith, Commanding General, 63rd Readiness Division
  • David Peacock, President, Hytrol Conveyor Company Inc.
  • Master of Ceremonies: Chris Hughes, also known as "Rick Christian," a 26-year local radio personality with the Jonesboro Radio Group and current Memphis Redbird Baseball on-field EMCEE.

The 106th Army Jazz Band will also perform.

There is no cost to attend this event.  Local businesses and individuals are underwriting the entire cost of the ceremony in honor of our Class of 2024 high school enlistees who have made the selfless decision to serve our country.

Suggested dress attire is business or business casual.  Everyone must register to attend the event.
