Our Community Salutes of Owensboro, KY will host its inaugural Enlistee Recognition Ceremony honoring the Class of 2025 high school seniors and their families on April 27.
Since 2012, the Brandon Scott Mullins Memorial Foundation has honored high school seniors from Apollo High School who have pursued a career in the United States Armed Forces.
This year, 2025, we proudly announce a partnership with the Our Community Salutes national organization and will host a special ceremony dedicated to honoring all high school seniors from Daviess County and the surrounding western Kentucky region expressing our gratitude and support for their decision.
Keynote Address: CW5 (RET) David Cassity
In 2019, CW5 Cassity retired from active duty after 30 years of active service. Mr. Cassity continues supporting the Army and the Ordnance Corps as the Logistics and Air/Missile Defense (AMD) Senior Analyst assigned to PO-IFMC. PO-IFMC as the C2 PO assigned to PEO MS, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama that will modernize the Army’s 15 Legacy Patriot Battalions C2 to ensure capability overmatch to our Air and Missile threats for decades to come.
