About the Ceremony

Our Community Salutes of Georgia honored GA high school seniors enlisting in military service, their families, recruiters, and members of the community.

Enlistees received a Certificate of Honor, OCS Challenge Coin, and the “Why We Take the Oath” Booklet.

Over the last 2 1/2 years, OCS GA and its supporters recognized more than 500 enlistees and 800 family members, recruiters and members of the community.

Speakers included:

  • CMDR. Trimble (USN)
  • Senior Chief Sheldon Willis (Ret. USN); who focused on the value/benefits of military service, the importance of family and the strength of the military family.
