On Friday, April 10, 2026, Our Community Salutes Georgia honored over 60 Georgia Enlistees along with their Families, Recruiters, and all who provide unwavering support. The Celebration  drew over 170 attendees representing  21 High Schools and 20 Cities. This marks the 5th consecutive year Valdosta Rainwater Conference Center hosted the OCS GA  Enlistee Celebration.

The distinguished Speakers Senior Chief Sheldon Willis, USN (Ret.), Instructor Valdosta Navy JROTC, MAJ Matthew Weber, CMD USMC Recruiting Station Jacksonville, and CPT Patrick Griffin SN., CMD, NTAG Jacksonville each spoke to the heart of Service, its challenges and rewards, ant the incredible Military Family.

Enlistees received an OCS GA Certificate of Honor, an OCS Challenge Coin, an OCS "Why We Take the Oath" Booklet, and two Chick-fil-A Gift Cards (courtesy of Chick-fil-A). Additionally OCS GA mailed the OCS GA 8x10 "Flag Portrait" to each Enlisting Hero's family. If not received, contact Jim Eberle at jim@eberle71.com or text to 404-668-0601.
